An electrolytic cell for electrolysis having a structure that can reduce the volume of the electrolytic cell, an electrolytic cell for electrolysis that is constructed in a simple structure, and is inexpensive, and an electrolytic cell for electrolysis that is constructed in a simple structure, and has high efficiency are provided. A cyclone type electrolytic cell(100) for electrolysis comprises: a cylindrical outer electrode(120b) in which a cavity is formed; a cylindrical inner electrode(120a) disposed within the cavity of the outer electrode in the same axial direction as the outer electrode; an inflow port(140) which is formed on a lower portion of the outer electrode, and into which an electrolyte solution flows such that the electrolyte solution is rotated in one direction within the cavity between the outer electrode and the inner electrode; and an outflow port(150) which is formed on an upper portion of the outer electrode, and flows out the electrolyte solution correspondingly to the rotational direction of the electrolyte solution.
