PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively manufacture a component in the exhaust transport component 2 of an exhaust system 1 for an internal combustion engine, particularly, the internal combustion engine of a power vehicle. SOLUTION: This component 2 has a pipe 4, and its pipe 4 makes exhaust gas flow inside to the other longitudinal end 7 from one longitudinal end 6. A longitudinal section 8 exists between the longitudinal ends 6 and 7, and a small hole group 10 is arranged on its wall 9. The component 2 also has a housing 5, and its housing surrounds the pipe 4 in the circumferential direction. The pipe 4 is connected and fixed to the housing 5 in one end area 11 having the longitudinal end 6 and the other end area 12 having the other longitudinal end 7. For enabling the component 2 to endure thermal stress generated in operation, the small hole group 10 is designed so that the longitudinal section 8 can absorb longitudinal thermal expansion force between the pipe 4 and the housing 5 by elastic deformation.
