<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a piezoelectric element that prevents damage to displacement portions while suppressing an increase in power consumption. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated piezoelectric element 1 includes a laminate 2 that has: a basal portion 51 formed of a piezoelectric layer 30; and displacement portions 50, each having first internal electrodes 31 and second internal electrodes 32 alternately laminated with piezoelectric layers 30 interposed therebetween and each extending from the basal portion 51 in a lamination direction of the first internal electrodes 31 and the second internal electrodes 32. As seen from the lamination direction, each of the displacement portions 50 is shaped so as to have a length, along a first direction perpendicular to the lamination direction, that is longer than a length along a second direction perpendicular to the first direction and the lamination direction. The first internal electrodes 31 and the second internal electrodes 32 have respective first portions P mutually overlapping in the lamination direction, and respective second portions Q not mutually overlapping in the lamination direction.
