Terminal block for connecting flexible four-wire conductors and rigid electrical conductors

A terminal block (a) is produced as a plastic moulding and has a number of formed chambers that are used to house separate metallic terminals for use with the wire cores of a multi-core cable. The terminals are formed with a block section (d) that receives the end of a flexible wire which is then secured by tightening a clamping screw (b). The other ends of the terminal blocks have a contact section having serrations (e, f) and into this is inserted the rigid wire of a connecting cable.
