<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anisotropic porous membrane insensitive to any difference in blood characteristics in measurement of blood components. <P>SOLUTION: The anisotropic porous membrane having a first surface to which blood is to be applied, and a second surface positioned on the opposite side of the first surface from which blood plasma oozes, where the average pore size of the first surface is larger than that of the second surface, in which 1) a surface aperture rate of the first surface is 3.0-9.5%, 2) an average pore size of the first surface is 3.0-5.0 μm, 3) an average pore size of the second surface is 0.1-3.0 μm, 4) a thickness of the porous membrane is 70-150 μm, 5) a penetration rate of erythrocytes from the first surface is 20-40% of the membrane thickness, and 6) blood with a hematocrit value of 60% is completely spread within one second when applied to the first surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
