<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag that more stably and promptly develops toward the occupant. <P>SOLUTION: A both sides part 23a of a diffuser 23 opposed to a gas inlet 31 is connected to a lower corner part 36 where both sides of a lower surface part 25 that has the gas inlet 31 of airbag body 22 is consecutive with a both sides face part 26. The diffuser 23 can be opened following the expansion of the airbag body 22.
