<p>The method involves measuring run time by ultrasonic signals in a liquid-filled measuring reservoir (4) in order to determine sound velocity in the reservoir. Temperature in the reservoir is continuously measured by a temperature sensor (8). Pressure in the reservoir is determined depending on the pressure-dependent sound velocity and the continuously measured temperature. A temperature change is detected from the continuously measured temperature. A pressure change in a measuring interval is determined from the sound velocity based on the detected temperature change. An independent claim is also included for a measuring device such as measurement chamber.</p> |
