<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a nozzle at a low recording cost with a low environmental load without using a recording medium. <P>SOLUTION: The method for inspecting the liquid ejecting head 4 for ejecting liquid flowing in via a flow passage part 3 from a supply part 2 includes: a flow passage shut-off step S1 for shutting off a flow passage between the supply part 2 and an ejection part 10 by a flow passage shut-off part 12; a liquid ejecting step S2 in which the ejection part 10 ejects the supplied liquid; a pressure detecting step S3 in which a pressure detector 5 detects pressure information of liquid existing from the flow passage shut-off part 12 to the ejection part 10; and a determination step S4 in which a determining part 6 determines whether the liquid ejecting head 4 is normal or not, in accordance with the pressure information detected by the pressure detector 5. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
