<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for introducing prestress into a brace utilizing a load in construction, a method for building a column-beam building utilizing the method, and a building built by the method. <P>SOLUTION: In a method for introducing prestress into a brace of a building comprising a column-beam frame and the brace, both ends of the brace on an upper story are fixed to a column and a beam before placing of a floor slab on the upper story; subsequently, the floor slab on the upper story is placed; and thereby, a compressive force generated in the brace on the upper story by self-weight of the floor slab on the upper story is utilized as the prestress. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
