Provided is a non-aqueous electrolyte containing a non-aqueous solvent, and a solute dissolved in the non-aqueous solvent. The non-aqueous solvent contains ethylene carbonate, propylene carbonate, and a fluorinated ester having three fluorine atoms, all of the fluorine atoms in the fluorinated ester being bonded to terminal carbon atoms not situated at the a position of the carbonyl group, and the carbon number, excluding the ester group of the fluorinated ester, being 5 or fewer. The weight proportion WEC of the ethylene carbonate in the total of the ethylene carbonate, the propylene carbonate, and the fluorinated ester is 5-30 wt%, the weight proportion WPC of the propylene carbonate in the total is 20-55 wt%, and the weight proportion WFE of the fluorinated ester in the total is 20-50 wt%. |
