<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a reception terminal to extract a part of video data from a received bit stream in accordance with a profile of the terminal when the video data is scalably encoded by several layers. <P>SOLUTION: An auxiliary sequence parameter set (SPS) structure which includes a self-network abstraction layer (NAL) unit type and can transmit a layer depending parameter of a non-base layer in an SVC environment is provided. An auxiliary SPS information structure can be used for view information in MVC information. In a general aspect, a structure including (1) information from an SPSNAL unit, which shows a parameter used for decoding of encoding of a first layer of an image sequence, and (2) information from an auxiliary SPSNAL unit including a structure different from the SPSNAL unit and information showing a parameter used in decoding of encoding of a second layer of the image sequence is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
