<p>The present invention provides a connector device which enables a ground connection member and a ground contact to be easily and reliably electrically connected, whilst avoiding an increase in manufacturing costs and without the need for a special ground connection member. A connector device according to the present invention is provided with: an insulating housing (13); a plurality of signal contacts; a ground contact (17); a ground connection member (30); and a conductive shell (21). Additionally, the conductive shell (21) comprises a band-shaped section (23). Furthermore, the conductive shell (21) comprises: a first ground connection section (26) which forms a part of the band-shaped section (23) and is connected to the ground connection member (30); and a second ground connection section (29) which extends from the band-shaped section (23) and is soldered and connected to the ground contact (17). Thus, the ground connection member (30) is electrically connected to the ground contact (17) via the conductive shell (21), making a special ground connection member unnecessary and avoiding an increase in manufacturing costs.</p> |
