<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably lubricate a joining part between a control link of a multiple linkage type piston-crank mechanism and a control shaft. <P>SOLUTION: The sum of a rotatable angular range of a control shaft 6, an adjustable angular range of an eccentric sleeve 20, and a rockable angular range of a control link 5 to an eccentric shaft 7, is set at 180° being a forming range of a bearing metal oil groove 35, or less. An oil hole 34 of the eccentric sleeve and an oil groove 33o of the eccentric shaft are set to be always overlapped with each other when an adjustment of top dead point of the piston 1 is made within the adjustable angular range of the eccentric 20. The sleeve oil hole 34 of the eccentric sleeve and the bearing metal oil groove 35 are set to be always overlapped with each other even when the control link 5 is rocked, when a compression ratio is controlled within the rotatable angular range of the control shaft 6. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
