The medicines spoon is comprised of the spoon head and spoon handle. The spoon handle is comprised of a hollow barrel in which a 2nd solid cylinder fits. The outer barrel has a "window" cut out of it so that the user can see the internal cylinder inside the outer barrel. The internal cylinder has markings on it which describe the time that the medication has been given and the time the next dose is due, or in which period another dose should not be given (use figure 1). The solid internal cylinder can be rotated by the user inside the external barrel to show the time that the dose has been given. The user can then see when the next dose is due, or the time in which another dose can be given (use figure 2).
