PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface circuit and a transmission/reception system, capable of satisfying a standard of a transmission waveform even when a transmission line does not satisfy the standard. SOLUTION: When there is the transmission line, such as a flexible wiring board, with large impedance, a control part 14 makes terminal resistance larger in signal transmission than that in signal reception (for example, in the case of resistance R1<R2, the resistance R2 is selected).
