PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a package material for a battery case capable of securing moldability without coating a sliding-property-imparting component and obtaining a sufficient volume capacity ratio. SOLUTION: In the package material for a battery case including a biaxially oriented polyamide film layer 2 as an external layer, a thermoplastic resin non-oriented film layer 3 as an internal layer, and an aluminum foil layer 4 arranged between the both film layers, a biaxially oriented polyamide film with a density of 1,130 to 1,160 kg/m<SP>3</SP>is used as the biaxially oriented polyamide film.
