PURPOSE: A static pressure-type of an exhaust brake is provided to prevent a decrease in back pressure performance caused by a gap generated when a valve closes as an exhaust hole is closed without clearances. CONSTITUTION: A static pressure-type of an exhaust brake(100) comprises a housing and a blocking plate(140). The housing is connected to an exhaust pipe to form an exhaust passage. The blocking plate is placed at one side of the exhaust passage in the housing. One end of the blocking plate rotates around the housing in order that the blocking plate opens and closes the exhaust passage. The blocking plate is rotationally installed not to be fitted in the exhaust passage when the exhaust passage opens and closes.
