PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a floor placing tatami which secures a ventilation layer via a wavy porous ventilation material inhibiting crushing and spreading even when a normal load on the tatami is applied to the ventilation layer provided in the tatami.SOLUTION: As a cross-sectional structure of a tatami, an air-permeable backing cloth 10, a cardboard 11, a wooden fiber lower layer plate 12, a ventilation layer 9 consisting of a wavy porous ventilation material 8 inhibiting crushing and spreading even when a normal load on the tatami is applied to the ventilation layer provided in the tatami, a wooden fiber upper layer plate 13, and an air-permeable thick nonwoven cloth 14 are lapped sequentially from a lower layer to an upper layer. The above-described members are vertically and firmly sutured together as a tatami bed 15 in a state that the ventilation layer 9 is secured, and thereafter edge cloth suture sides of a tatami mat 16 arranged on the upper surface of the tatami bed 15 are covered by edge cloth and fixed to an underside of the tatami bed, and edgeless sides of the tatami mat 16 are wound around edgeless side faces of the tatami bed 15 and sutured to the side faces and the underside of the tatami bed 10. |
