摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light shield mechanism capable of preventing inner surface reflection on a mirror reverse surface and reverse light entry into a finder without lowering a successive photographing speed for an imaging apparatus that comprises a quick-return mirror mechanism and enables wide-range photometry and range finding of an imaging element.SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus consists of a photographic lens (300), an imaging element (201) provided on a focal plane of the photographic lens, a half-mirror (102) which is located in an optical path of photography when a subject is observed to guide part of subject luminous flux to a finder optical system and part of it to the imaging element, a quick-return mirror mechanism which retracts the half-mirror from the optical path of photography during subject photography to guide the subject luminous flux to the focal plane, and light shield blades (106, 107) which can move in parallel with the half-mirror and are divided into a plurality, the light shield blades projecting from an end of the half-mirror after photography to block incident light from a mirror box periphery, and shielding a transmission part of the half-mirror from light during the photography.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 6
