PURPOSE: A battery cable for a vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to firmly fix a cable and a terminal without movement as an insulator barrel is closely adhered to a peripheral surface of an insulator unit of the cable. CONSTITUTION: A battery cable(100) for a vehicle comprises a cable body(110) and a terminal(120). The cable is composed of a center insulator unit(110a) surrounded by an adhesive tube and an end conduction unit(110b) exposed to the outside. The terminal is connected between the battery and the cable, thereby supplying electricity to the cable. The terminal comprises a conductor barrel(122) and an insulator barrel(123). A cross-section of the conductive barrel is formed into a circular shape. When the conductor unit of the cable is seated on an inner surface of the conductor barrel, the conductive barrel is pressed in a polygonal direction so that a peripheral surface of the conduction unit. When the insulator unit of the cable is seated on an inner surface of the insulator barrel, the insulator barrel is closely adhered to a peripheral surface of the insulator unit.
