摘要 PURPOSE: An image compression method for a multi-core processor in regards to image compression and a recording medium thereof are provided to reduce energy consumption by considering image compression power consumption performance with respect to time. CONSTITUTION: A multi-core processor produces image compression performance for each candidate frequency domain conversion. The multi-core processor determines a frequency domain conversion(110). The multi-core processor determines a quantization table size(130). The multi-core processor produces the image compression performance of each candidate encoding method. The multi-core processor determines an encoding method with the highest image compression performance(150).
