PURPOSE: Water-repellent treatment of polyester fabric using Tio2 is provided to maximize water-repellent effects on the fiber surface by making super-hydrophobic surface on the fabric, and to maximize a contact angle of the fabric surface and water drops. CONSTITUTION: Water-repellent treatment of polyester fabric using Tio2 comprises a step for mixing TiO2 sol(3200~6400ppm) containing TiO2 nanoparticles of which particle diameter is 60~70 nm and TiO2 sol(3600~7200ppm) containing the TiO2 nanoparticles of which particle diameter is 400~500 nm with a weight ratio of 3:7 ~ 7:3 respectively. The water-repellent treatment further includes a step for padding the polyester fabric in Tio2 sol to a pickup rate of 50~60% after curing the fabric in 170~175°C, and a step for curing the fabric with liquid containing fluorosilane-based repellent in 180~185°C for 1 ~ 2 minutes. |
