A charging cable housing device comprises: a charging connector (150); a housing (101) having an inner space (101A) and extending vertically; a charging cable (160) which is housed within the inner space (101A) of the housing (101), has one end which is led to the outside from an opening (120H) provided in the housing (101) and to which the charging connector (150) is connected, and has the other end from which electric power is supplied; and a cable reel (210) housed within the inner space (101A) of the housing (101) at a position below the opening (120H) and on which the other end side of the charging cable (160) is wound.
