<p>#CMT# #/CMT# The gearbox has a sun wheel (10) with a worm gearing (26), and ring gears (14) provided with internal gears (16). Teeth are arranged over a peripheral part of planetary gears (22). The planetary gears are arranged such that the teeth engage with the worm gearing and the internal gears in different directions. The planetary gears are rotatably arranged around axles that are inclinedly aligned with respect to a common axis of the sun wheel and the ring gears. The teeth are designed as individual teeth and formed in partial pyramidal shape or prismatoid shape. #CMT# : #/CMT# The internal gears are designed as helical gearings. An independent claim is also included for a drive. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Gearbox i.e., hollow shaft gearbox, for use in a drive (all claimed) in a rotating tank turret, an excavator, a robot and a rotary table. Can also be used for a swivel tilting head, an agitator, a machine tool and a wind-power plant. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The planetary gears are arranged such that the teeth engage with the worm gearing and the internal gears in the different directions, thus ensuring a compact structure to the gearbox while increasing rotational torque of the gearbox, and hence achieving high transmission ratio of about 20:1 in the gearbox. The gearbox is directly integrated into a motor of the drive.
