#CMT# #/CMT# The device (1) has an elongated balancing element (2) e.g. balancing belt, fastened between two fixing points (3) e.g. trees. An end region (4) of the balancing element is guided around the points and arranged in a sleeve-like protection element (5) i.e. hose, which surrounds a rear side (6) of a tree or post periphery. The balancing element is fastened with a plug connector (8) and variably engages around the periphery on a front side of the periphery so that a fixing point (9) of the balancing element is arranged approximately upto a bark of the tree or post surface in a reset manner. #CMT# : #/CMT# An independent claim is also included for a method for mounting an end section of a balancing device. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Balancing device for use at trees and posts with sensitive surfaces (all claimed) e.g. painted surface and refined surface. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The sleeve-like protection element surrounds the rear side of the tree or post periphery, thus avoiding rubbing of a loop end section of the balancing element during using of the balancing element on the surface of the trees and the posts. The device enables rearward sliding of the end section of the balancing element on the tree surface, thus avoiding damage of surface regions of the tree and the posts. The device is thus easily fastened at the trees or the posts with sensitive surfaces.
