<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing treated drinking water by treating raw water using ceramic balls. <P>SOLUTION: The method includes: a first step of storing raw water in a raw water tank filled with crushed tourmalines for a predetermined time period; a second step of removing unnecessary substances from the water obtained from the raw water tank to generate pure water; a third step of passing the pure water through a ceramic ball filter filled with ceramic balls; a fourth step of storing the pure water in a pure water tank filled with crushed tourmalines and ceramic balls for a predetermined time period; and a fifth step of passing the water obtained from the pure water tank through a carbon filter and subjecting the water to ultraviolet light irradiation using an ultraviolet germicidal lamp to produce treated drinking water, and returning the residual treated drinking water, except the treated drinking water taken outside, to the second tank, wherein the ceramic balls are made by forming crushed ores into a spherical shape and sintering them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
