Disclosed are a small-area symbol timing-offset synchronizer and a design method for same. According to an embodiment of the present invention, a symbol timing-offset synchronizer is characterized by: converting a direct-form filter structure to a transposed direct-form filter structure; converting a filter coefficient of the transposed direct-form filter to a canonic signed-digit (CSD) format; and redesigning the filter structure on the basis of the CSD coefficient. |
