<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an arbitrary redundant word line using an external address, which is received by an address terminal, without selecting a real word line. <P>SOLUTION: A semiconductor memory comprises: a memory block which includes a plurality of real word lines and a plurality of redundant word lines; a first decoder that decodes a first address, which is a part of an external address received by an address terminal, to output a first decode signal and disables the decoding operation during a test mode; a second decoder that decodes, during a normal operation mode, a second address, which is another part of the external address, or a redundant address indicating a redundant word line used for failure repair and decodes the second address during the test mode, to output a second decode signal; a first driver that selects a real word line according to the first decode signal and the second decode signal; and a second driver that selects a redundant word line according to the second decode signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
