<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seatbelt retractor which is highly quiet by reducing noise. <P>SOLUTION: A spool 18 is placed between a pair of side plates 12, 14 arranged facing each other, and the spool 18 winds and unwinds a seatbelt 20. A lock mechanism is attached to the outer surface of the side plate 14 and restrains rotation of the spool 18 based on an output from a sensor. A resin cover 52 is attached to the outer surface of the side plate 14 and receives the lock mechanism. A washer 56 made of metal such as stainless steel is fixed to an outer wall 57 of the cover 52 by using a double-sided tape 55. One side of the tape 55 is bonded to the outer wall 57 of the cover 52, and the washer 56 is bonded to the another side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
