A device for the detection of rail vehicle location comprises a longitudinal recording head, first to six single-gap flow sensitive magnetic heads reading out horizontal components of magnetic tag field strength, first to tenth phase detectors, first to twelfth threshold elements, first to eighth NOT gates, AND gate, indicator. In addition seventh to tenth double-gap flow sensitive magnetic heads are arranged, those read out vertical components of magnetic tag field strength. This provides increase of device response characteristic and operation accuracy. |
