<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic photoreceptor, which is improved in wear resistance characteristics and further, prevented from an increase in a residual potential or generation of a transfer memory, and which can stably form a favorable electrophotographic image for a long period of time, and to provide an image forming apparatus and an image forming method. <P>SOLUTION: An organic photoreceptor includes a photosensitive layer and a protective layer, successively layered on a conductive support.
