PURPOSE: A reclining device for a vehicle seat is provided to integrate a plate holder of a reclining unit with a holder ring which fixes a sector gear, thereby reducing the number of needed parts for a reclining device. CONSTITUTION: A reclining device(100) for a vehicle seat includes a reclining unit(110), a mounting bracket(130), and a spring holder bracket(140). The reclining unit comprises a sector tooth(112), a plate holder(111), and a pawl tooth(113), and a cam plate(114). The sector tooth has an inner gear at the inner edge of one side. The plate holder is combined in one side of the sector tooth. The pawl tooth is mounted between the sector tooth and the plate holder. The cam plate pressurizes the pawl tooth so that an outer gear of the pawl tooth is engaged in the inner gear of the sector tooth. The mounting bracket has a holder unit(120) to surround and fix the sector tooth and the edge of the plate holder. The spring holder bracket is fixed to one side of the reclining unit. |
