<p>The present invention pertains to a method and device for producing reduced iron from iron-making dust comprising iron oxide produced in an iron-making plant, focuses on a rotary kiln reduction method free of the need to pre-treat the dust, and addresses the pursuit of equipment for achieving further enhanced thermal efficiency and stable operation. To achieve the foregoing, the present invention is characterized in that when heating and reducing a carbon-containing molded body in a single enclosed space in which an internally heated rotary kiln and an externally heated rotary kiln are arranged in series and which comprises at least both the rotary kiln interiors, a reduction exhaust gas produced in an externally heated rotary kiln is combusted in the interior of an internally heated rotary kiln.</p> |
