PURPOSE: An automatic slack adjuster trouble detecting apparatus of a heavy vehicle air disk brake device is provided to detect the trouble in an automatic slack adjuster comprised in a heavy vehicle air disk brake device continuously. CONSTITUTION: An automatic slack adjuster trouble detecting apparatus of a heavy vehicle air disk brake device comprises an air chamber(10) and a caliper(14). The air chamber is connected to a lever(12) equipped with an automatic slack adjusting unit. The caliper is connected to the lever by a piston. Internal and external brake pads(18, 20) are installed in the caliper. The Internal and external brake pads are composed of jigs and blocks. The jigs comprise contact protrusions respectively. The blocks are installed detachably. |
