FUEL CELL SYSTEM AND DRIVING METHOD THEREOF

PURPOSE: A fuel cell system is provided to increase the temperature of a fuel cell stack up to a target temperature and to operate a fuel cell stack in a normal mode even under a low temperature environment of below zero. CONSTITUTION: A fuel cell system(100) comprises a fuel cell stack(40) which comprises a plurality of unit cells, a temperature measuring part(50) measuring the temperature of the fuel cell stack; a cell voltage measurement part(60) which measures the respective voltage of the unit cells; and a control part(80) which controls a load current to maintain the minimum unit cell voltage to a specific critical voltage and detecting minimum unit cell voltage by monitoring the respective cell voltage of the unit cells when the temperature of the fuel cell stack is below zero.
