PURPOSE: A mobile terminal capable of transmitting information to and receiving information from other mobile terminals regarding a three-dimensional video call and a control method thereof are provided to efficiently control cameras according to a video call mode in a mobile terminal which supports a three-dimensional video call. CONSTITUTION: A wireless communications unit(110) is connected to other mobile terminals. Each of multiple cameras obtains external images. A control unit(180) requests a three-dimensional video call to the other mobile terminals. If either a two-dimensional video call mode or a three-dimensional video call mode is selected by the other mobile terminals, the control unit controls the multiple cameras based on the selected video call mode.
