摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve fuel economy during acceleration and to improve drivability in responsiveness or accelerating property even when an output of an engine is regulated during acceleration. <P>SOLUTION: An ECU 18 is used for a hybrid vehicle which includes an engine 10 and an electric motor 13 and can travel either by the engine 10 or the electric motor 13 or by the corporation of the engine 10 and the electric motor 13, and the ECU 18 regulates the maximum output of the electric motor 13 to avoid decrease in the efficiency of the motor 13 down to less than a predetermined value. The ECU cancels the output regulation of the electric motor 13 when an increase rate of a pedaling amount of an accelerator within a predetermined time period exceeds a predetermined value, and controls the sum of the torque of the electric motor 13 obtained by canceling the output regulation and the torque of the engine 10 to be a requested torque corresponding to the depression amount of an accelerator pedal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
