<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an area and a volume of a square tubular carton of a rectangular shape and to fold the sides in the length direction into a plurality of parts when disposing the carton. <P>SOLUTION: The square tubular carton of a rectangular shape having a front face part 1, a rear face part 5, right and left side faces 2, 3, a bottom face part 6 and a top face part 8, with the top face part connected to an upper end of the rear face part, includes internal folding lines o, p, r and s formed at a center symmetrical position of the right and the left side faces toward top face opening direction from a position near to the bottom face part; front face and rear face reverse folding parts formed at one part directed toward the bottom face direction from a top face part opening edge of the front face part and rear face part; a connection piece of a certain width breakably formed directed toward the inside of the rear face reverse folding part from the top face part opening edge part at the rear face reverse folding; and an insertion piece 9 at the end of the top face.
