PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain both convenience by secondary use and secure management of record data, such as a medical image.

SOLUTION: A medical information recording and outputting device includes: a recording and outputting part for recording a medical image from a medical device and outputting the recorded medical image; association means for associating management information selected from information relating to the medical image; specification means for specifying information associated with the medical image by the association means; and a control part for controlling the association means so as to associate the information specified by the specification means with the medical image outputted from the recording and outputting part.
