ORGANIC THIN FILM, GAS BARRIER FILM, ADHESIVE FILM, DISPLAY DEVICE, AND FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic thin film having a high gas barrier capability, a gas barrier film and an adhesive film comprising the organic thin film, a display device using the organic thin film, a film having the organic thin film, and a display device having the film.

SOLUTION: An organic thin film at least has: a first organic molecular skeleton layer 2; a network layer 3 laminated on the first organic molecular skeleton layer 2; and a second organic molecular skeleton layer 4 laminated on the network layer 3. An organic molecular skeleton configuring the network layer 3 is coupled in an in-plane direction, or alternatively, a long axis of the organic molecular skeleton configuring the network layer is oriented in the in-plane direction, and an interval in the in-plane direction, of the organic molecular skeleton configuring the network layer, is smaller than intervals in the in-plane direction, of the first and second organic molecular skeletons.
