<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the blocking of a safety valve, and to secure the reliability of a refrigerating cycle device. <P>SOLUTION: The refrigerating cycle device includes a low-temperature side closed circuit 6 using a carbon dioxide as a refrigerant and having a pump 1 or the like for pressurizing the refrigerant, a low-temperature side condenser 3 for condensing the refrigerant, and a low-temperature side evaporator 5 for evaporating the refrigerant which are connected with each other by piping and a first safety valve 7 opening a valve and communicates with the outside to discharge the refrigerant when the pressure of the refrigerant in the low-temperature side closed circuit 6 exceeds blow-out pressure. A relation among the blow-out pressure P (MPaabs) of the first safety valve 7, a capacity V (m<SP POS="POST">3</SP>) of the low-temperature side closed circuit 6, and an amount of refrigerant W (kg) filled in the low-temperature side closed circuit 6 satisfy an equation of W/V≤P×25.4+20.1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
