IMAGING APPARATUS, CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM OF THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that there is a case where calculated positional information shows a position greatly distant from an actual imaging position due to a positioning error.

SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: means to obtain first positional information when an instruction to obtain image data is accepted; means to associate the image data with the first positional information; means to obtain plural pieces of second positional information after an instruction to operate preparation for obtaining the image data is accepted and before an instruction to obtain the image data is accepted; means to obtain third position information on the basis of the plural pieces of second positional information; and notification means to send a notification to a user to the effect that the position shown by the first positional information is separated from the position shown by the third positional information by a predetermined distance or more when it is the case.
