<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a failure diagnosing device for a pressure difference sensor capable of diagnosing presence/absence of a failure in a pressure introducing hose of the sensor. <P>SOLUTION: An exhaust emission control device is equipped with a DPF installed in the exhaust passage of an internal combustion engine and a pressure difference sensor for sensing the pressure difference between in front of and behind the DPF. The failure diagnosing device for pressure difference sensor is to diagnose if the pressure difference sensor in the exhaust emission control device has a failure or not. The configuration includes a first judging means to make failure judgement on the DPF on the basis of the temperatures in front of and behind the DPF and a second judging means to make failure judgement on the pressure difference sensor on the basis of the judging result of the first means and the pressure difference value sensed by the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
