<p>Provided is an image formation device in which the pressure of toner accumulated between a photosensitive drum and a cleaning blade can be removed without affecting the service life of the photosensitive drum. The image formation device (10) comprises photosensitive drums (21A to 21D), an intermediate transfer belt (31), cleaning blades (250A to 250D), a cam mechanism (36), and a drive motor (26). The photosensitive drums (21B to 21D) support toner images. The intermediate transfer belt transfers toner images from the photosensitive drums (21A to 21D). The cleaning blades (250A to 250D) remove toner that remains on the photosensitive drums (21A to 21D) after transfer. The cam mechanism (36) changes the photosensitive drums (21A to 21D) and the intermediate transfer belt (31) from a state of contact therebetween to a state of separation therebetween after image formation processing is completed. The drive motor (26) causes the photosensitive drums (21B to 21D) to rotate in the opposite direction after the change to the state of separation is made.</p> |
