Lamination device and method for films with temperature-sensitive elements and documents produced with same

The apparatus has heaters (12,19) that are operated for heating the substrate (2) for forming the laminated film (7) on surface of the substrate. The film formed at the surface of heated substrate is pressed by pressing devices (21-23). The heaters are adapted to different areas of film and/or substrate, and to different temperatures. The heating elements of the heaters are selected from power semiconductors especially power transistors. The operation of heaters is controlled by a control device. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) a method for forming laminated film on surface of substrate; and (2) a security document.
