PURPOSE: Stereoscopic image display apparatus is provided to reduce up and down view angle by alignment error of pattern retarder. CONSTITUTION: Display panel(10) forms odd reset line(RL(o)), even reset line(RL(e)), the first common voltage line(Vcom1), and the second common voltage line(Vcom2), parallel to gate line(Gn). Pixel(P) of the display panel comprises main pixel(Pm), the first sub pixel(Psub1), and the second sub pixel(Psub2). Main pixel displays image in 2D and 3D mode. The first sub pixel is positioned in the lower part of main pixel. The second sub pixel is positioned in the top of main pixel. Both of the first sub pixel and the second sub pixel display image in 2D mode. One of the first sub pixel or the second sub pixel displays image in 3D mode, and the other displays black gradation. |
