PURPOSE: An electricity production device and a method of floating production storage and offloading is provided to manufacture electricity by using methanol which is byproduct generated in the manufacturing of dimethyl ether. CONSTITUTION: An electricity production device is a device which manufactures electricity needed at dimethyl ether FPSO(101) which manufactures and stores collected natural gas into dimethyl ether. The electricity production device of dimethyl ether FPSO includes a fuel cell system(10) capable of producing electricity by using methanol. The fuel cell system includes a reformation reactor and a fuel cell which produces electricity by electrochemically reacting the modified synthetic gas.
