<p>PURPOSE: A column driver with an embedded high speed interface timing controller is provided to reduce power consumption in display hardware by determining a destination column driver of an auxiliary signal. CONSTITUTION: A display panel includes column drivers(110,112), a power divider(116), and an auxiliary bus(130). A video module receives a video signal and includes video display information. An auxiliary module receives an auxiliary signal and includes communication information. A bus module determines a destination column driver of the auxiliary signal. The bus module transmits the auxiliary signal to the destination column driver.
