The aerosol device comprises a first compartment containing a hair styling composition comprising cellulosic compound (1-12 wt.%) in alcoholic or hydroalcoholic medium and fixing polymers of cellulosic compounds, where the medium comprises 10-90 wt.% of 1-4C monohydric alcohol, and a second compartment containing a compressed gas consisting of air. A pressure of the compressed gas is 9-11 bars. The cellulose compound consists of celluloses, and cellulose ethers including nonionic, anionic or cationic cellulose ethers. An independent claim is included for a hair styling method.
