COAGULANT COMPOSITION FOR REMOVING PHOSPHORUS SUITABLE FOR MBR PROCESS AND WATER TREATMENT METHOD USING THEREOF

PURPOSE: A phosphorus removal coagulant composition for a membrane bioreactor(MBR) process and a water treatment method using the same are provided to minimize the fouling of a membrane and to sufficiently remove phosphorus from drainage. CONSTITUTION: A phosphorus removal coagulant composition for an MBR process includes 90-99.5 weight% of poly(aluminum chloride) of 50-85% of high basicity and 0.05-10 weight% of poly(diallyldimethylammonium chloride). The poly(aluminum chloride) includes 5-20% Al_2O_3. A manufacturing method of the poly(aluminum chloride) of high basicity includes the following steps: aluminum hydroxide and hydrochloric acid is primarily reacted at a temperature between 130 and 150 deg C to prepare intermediate of 40-45% basicity; and caustic soda is added into the intermediate and is secondarily reacted at a temperature between 50 and 100 deg C to adjust the basicity of the poly(aluminum chloride).
